Saturday's ride was sandwiched in while the COTU were at a birthday party. OSLO and I rode through some woods and past a few corn and blueberry fields -- Mother/Daughter rides are right up there with Grandmother/Granddaughter rides.
And so I needed a ride with the boy COTU to round things out. All four of us geared up and rode over to the fairgrounds on Sunday afternoon. We took a shortcut through the back gate, down an unpaved trail, much to the delight of Totally Jammin', who liked the fact that he had the best tires on his bike for the terrain of the four of us. The fairgrounds were nearly deserted except for us. The COTU explored the grandstand and requested that this picture be taken. Happy to oblige. Not a ton of miles, but bicycle therapy isn't just about the miles.

I remember sitting in that grandstand one summer evening watching a demolition derby.
How cool that you have such high quality company on your bike rides--three days in a row!
Thinking of you all alot,
