Pine Bend
These are hemlocks, as in, "THIS is the forest primeval, the murmuring pines and the hemlocks," -- Longfellow. A nice hike from Pine Bend to Hemlock Crossing (and back) along the Pigeon River with Lynne this morning.

Your Pine Bend is prettier than our Pine Bend. Ours is the location of a huge oil refinery. There are very few pines there and the ones that are there are probably bent. TT
